The CNA course consists of 30 hours of classroom training and 75 hours of practicum course work.  All classroom coursework is completed at The Hope Training center. All students will be required to completed 2 skills lab days with in the 8 weeks course. This is in addition to the 30 classroom hours and 75 practicum hours. Although THC provides options for practicum sites within the Indianapolis metropolitan area, the CNA practicum has a RN precept present with the CNA students at all times during practicum. THC cannot guarantee that our clinical partners will allow/admit any student to complete practicum hours.  All practicum sites must be approved by the course instructor or Program Director.  Students must attend all scheduled classroom and practicum sessions.
